Redd Retail Group welcome another member to their team, a Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager.
Social Media and Digital Marketing is becoming a more crucial part of business every day, there is no denying that.
Redd Retail Group, like most companies have decided to join the craze, but Redd are making sure they are one step ahead, by bringing in a new staff member, Emily Johnston, dedicated to managing and developing their Social Media and Digital Marketing platforms.
Redd’s initial contact with Emily started when Creative Development and Project Manager, Manish Gajjar, reached out to her on LinkedIn. After learning about the new role and potential opportunities, Emily could not refuse!
Emily was very interested in the role and soon met with Manish and Karl at the Head Office based in the U.K. Emily was excited in joining the team, with Redd feeling mutual, she started working for Redd on 16th January 2017. Working in their creative studios overlooking the countryside of Leicestershire.
In 2015, Emily was awarded ‘Apprentice of the Year’ in the Leicester Mercury 2015 Women In Business Awards, recognising the work she was doing and how it was developing the online presence of the company, she was nominated by her Directors and was shortlisted as a finalist, and then went on to win the award.
Emily’s experience fitted the criteria that Redd were looking for, as in her previous role she was brought in as an Apprentice to help develop the organisations Social Media platforms and boost their audience, raising their profile, helping look for new ways in organising and developing the company’s marketing and giving audiences a more in-depth insight into the work the company did.
