Redd Retail Group visits Euroshop

Our teams at Redd Retail Group have recently arrived back at Head Office after a busy few days at Euroshop 2017 in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Euroshop, the world’s biggest retail trade show is only held every four years on the grounds of Messe, Dusseldorf; and attracts retail design companies from all around the world allowing visitors to scope out the latest industry trends and meet potential clients.

The show also enables worldwide brands looking for innovative concepts to immerse themselves into interactive, physical portfolios as each exhibitor pulls out all the stops to stand out from the crowd.

Below are our top three favourite displays from this year!

Russian exhibition interior specialists Studio Dega captured the attention of many visitors attending the show with their Infinityconst EVO system. The luminous modular exhibition system is designed from biomorphic structures made out of aluminum extrusions, steel collectors, light-stretchable textile fittings and a magnetic strip LED control system that is so simple to operate that even a child could use it.

Another design that stood out to us during the show was Arakawa Hanging Systems (also knows as International United Arrows Inc.) cable display. Based in Japan, Arakawa Grip’s approach to retail design focuses on suspension and hanging using cables, their designs are mainly featured in art galleries and retail stores. The Euroshop display used cable crossings descending from the four corner points of the cuboid frame to create a sculpture that resembled an algebraic geometric structure and used adjustable ball bearings to secure the sculpture.

Procédés Chénel International

Procédés Chénel International are an architectural design and display company with a difference; working hard to add value to their waste and create environmentally friendly projects, their displays are made completely out of various types of paper-like materials that are lightweight, fire safe and 100% recyclable. True to their ethos, the Procédés Chénel’s UnderWater Euroshop display created every concept of their design out of paper and other recyclable materials… Even their reception desk! Their display also included aquatic elements such as fish, plants and giant floating Jelly Fish!
