Redd Retail Group enjoy another year at BaselWorld
Another year sees another triumph for Redd at BaselWorld.
March marked the biggest event in the watch and jewellery industry’s calendar – BaselWorld.
Held in the beautiful Swiss city of Basel, luxury brands gather from all over the world to showcase their products, network with new and existing business professionals and release their newest collections.
For Redd, the show is a mixture of work and pleasure; catching up with existing clients and building relationships with new brands.
Providing complete services for Peers Hardy Group; our creative, development, production and installation teams worked closely with the brand from concept through to install. Creating every aspect from the exhibition stand itself including the shop in shop furniture, POS displays and high quality digitally printed graphics.
Believing beauty is in the detail, one of our most complemented pieces for the Dreyfuss Group exhibition stand was the Rotary mountains display case. Hand-crafted, with a live train and track within the display; our creative team developed the mountains in-house bringing the brands ideas to life.
After designing, developing and manufacturing the Dartmouth Brand’s debut exhibition stand at BaselWorld in 2016, Redd were tasked with doing the same for 2017.
Each display was designed and considered using materials that replicated the brands inspiration.
James McCabe was constructed from real wood, which was stained and lacquered to emphasise the grain. Other elements included distressed brass logos, clear fabricated showcases and warm white LED lighting to achieve a rustic look.
AVI-8 display was designed and manufactured in conjunction with the brand to suit their aviation inspired watches. Aluminium panels were riveted to a wooden carcass and finished with glass showcases and LED lighting.
Ballast draws its design inspiration from WWII naval submarines and seafaring vessels which we captured in the design and manufacture of these displays using aluminium checker plate with steelwork and black spray finishes.
Spinnaker’s display was designed to simulate a nautical look and feel of the brand, using white satin finishes along with cleats and ropes props.
