A night of achievement at the 2017 WatchPro Awards
Wednesday night saw Redd Retail Directors proudly award Hublot as the Marketing and Merchanding Team of the Year, and Seiko and Casio as the joint winners of the Best New Store or Refurbishment of the Year at the 2017 WatchPro awards.
Held in the Old Billiard Room at 8 Northumberland in London’s iconic Trafalgar Square, the event was attended by all of the top brands and retailers in the industry to celebrate a year of creative achievements.
The black-tie evening offered the opportunity to network during the drinks reception and then invited its guests into the ballroom for a gala dinner ahead of the award ceremony.
We chose to sponsor the two specific categories as they aligned closely with our company philosophy.
As a retail design company, our service revolves around helping brands gain exposure and stand out in competitive markets through innovative displays that go hand-in-hand with their marketing campaigns; generally, when completing a refurbishment or design project for a client we tend to work closely with Marketing Managers and Visual Merchandisers, so it’s great to be able to sponsor a category that reflects what we do.
Redd previously sponsored the Marketing and Merchandising Team of the Year category in 2016 when Raymond Weil was announced as the winning team and was excited to sponsor two categories this year.
As always, all of the finalists were worthy competitors, seeing the likes of Breitling, Seiko, Michael Kors, Casio, Citizen, Tudor and Tag Heuer shortlisted for the Marketing and Merchandising Team of the Year; and Seiko Knightsbridge, Montblanc on London’s Bond Street, Mappin & Webb Glasgow, Chisholm Hunter in Edinburgh and Casio Carnaby Street for the Store of Refurbishment of the Year.
All three Redd Directors attended the event, along with some of our fantastic clients and friends; and during the ceremony, Karl and Brienne took to the stage to present the winning teams with the awards.
As the evening drew to a close, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of achievement and unity as the British watch industry came together to celebrate each other’s achievements.
As a company built on great working relationships, we thoroughly enjoyed spending some ‘relaxed’ time with our clients and supporting such a great event.
